CGC training emphasizes responsible owners and well mannered dogs. \u00a0The curriculum focuses on items that will be tested at the end of the 6 week session, such as leash walking through a crowd, approach of another dog and handler, recall, long distance stay and handling. \u00a0The test is administered by a Certified AKC CGC evaluator and upon passing, each team will be awarded a CGC certificate and blue ribbon.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

CGC is a prerequisite for the Therapy Dog Class.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\r\n
